Map Pack check
See where your business shows up on Google Maps for one search, at 49 points across your area, and who takes the top 3 where you don't.
When to use it. When customers find you on a map: to see the streets where you show up and the ones where you vanish.
Your call. The check only searches Google Maps. It never changes your Google Business Profile.
How it works
- TuBe finds your Google Business Profile first. If it finds the wrong one, choose Not yours? and type your name exactly as it is on Google Maps.
- Type what customers search on Google Maps, and pick the distance around the center (1, 2 or 5 miles) and the center: your business, or a city you serve if you go to your customers.
- Choose Run the check. TuBe searches Google Maps from 49 points in a 7 by 7 grid and records where you show up at each.
- Tap a point on the grid to see the top 3 businesses there.
What you see on the page
- Top 3: in the Map Pack: You're one of the three businesses Google shows first on the map at that point.
- 4 to 10, 11 to 20: You show up there, but further down the list.
- 20+: You aren't in the top 20 at that point.
- ?: That point didn't load. The totals cover the points that did.
- N of M points: Where you're in the Map Pack, out of the points that loaded.
- Average position there: Your average rank at the points where you show up in the top 20.
- Who's in the Map Pack most often: The other businesses in the top 3 at the most points, with their ratings and reviews.
- The ringed point: The center of the grid. North is up.
After you act
- The check only searches Google Maps. It never changes your Google Business Profile.
- Your checks stay on the page. Pick a search above the results to see that check again.

Questions
Why does it say Google shows no businesses around this spot?
Google shows no businesses for that search near the center. If you go to your customers, your map pin may sit outside the area you serve: center the check on a city you serve and run it again.
TuBe found the wrong business. What do I do?
Choose Not yours? and type your business name exactly as it appears on Google Maps. The free trial allows three lookups, and one that finds nothing doesn't count.
Can I check more than one search?
The free trial includes one check. Local SEO Pro checks up to five searches every week around each of your locations.
