Rank tracking

Where your website ranks on Google for each of your keywords, checked every Monday, with what moved since the check before.

When to use it. Every week, to see whether your work is moving you up, and which keywords are close to page 1.

Your call. Rank tracking only reads Google's results. It never changes your website.

How it works

  1. TuBe tracks the keywords your articles, planned articles and website pages use on its own.
  2. Add any other search you want to rank for and choose Track. Its first check runs on Monday.
  3. Every Monday TuBe checks Google's top 100 results in the US for each keyword. New positions show up as they come in, usually within the hour.
  4. To stop tracking a keyword you added, choose the X next to it. Its past checks are kept.

What you see on the page

  • In the top 3, top 10, top 100: How many of your tracked keywords rank in those spots on the latest check.
  • Since last check: The change against each keyword's own previous check, so newly added keywords never count as gains.
  • Keywords in the top 10, week by week: The trend over the last few weekly checks.
  • Rank: #N is your position. Not in top 100 means you aren't in the first 100 results. Not checked yet means it waits for Monday.
  • Change: Up or down by N places, New in top 100, Left top 100, First check, or No change.
  • Your page: The page of yours that ranks for the keyword.
  • Why a keyword is tracked: Used by an article, Used by a planned article, Used by a page on your site, or Added by you.
  • N of M on your plan: How many keywords you track, against your plan's weekly number.

After you act

  • Rank tracking only reads Google's results. It never changes your website.
  • If you track more keywords than your plan checks, the extra ones aren't checked. Stop tracking the ones you need least.
  • If a weekly check doesn't finish, TuBe checks again the next Monday, and the page shows the last check that did.

Why is a keyword I didn't add on the list?

TuBe tracks the keywords your articles, planned articles and pages use, so you see how your own content ranks.

Does it check rankings in my city?

The weekly check uses Google's results for the United States. To see where you rank on the map around your business, use the Map Pack check or Local SEO Pro.

Why does a keyword say Not in top 100?

Your site isn't in Google's first 100 results for it yet.

  • Keyword search: Type a service you sell and TuBe finds the related searches people make on Google, with how many people search each one and how hard it is to rank for.
  • Weekly report: Every Monday, a plain report of the week before: where your keywords rank, how often AI assistants name you, and the articles, links and listings that went live.
  • On-page fixes: TuBe compares your pages with the ones outranking them and suggests fixes to titles, headings and descriptions. You approve each one, and TuBe can put the approved ones on your WordPress site.
