Your plan at a glance, your WordPress connection, your team, and your account: your email, your password, signing out and deleting your account.
When to use it. To connect your WordPress site so TuBe can post your articles, invite a teammate, or change your password.
Your call. Connecting WordPress posts nothing. Articles go to your site only when you choose Post.
How it works
- Sign in to WordPress as a user who can publish posts, open Users, then Profile, and scroll down to Application Passwords. Type TuBe SEO as the name, choose Add New Application Password and copy the password. WordPress shows it only once.
- In TuBe, under Your website, paste your site address (with https), your WordPress username and that password, then choose Connect.
- TuBe connects and tests it in a few seconds. Connected means TuBe can post your articles.
- Test again checks it any time, Change login replaces the password, and Disconnect stops TuBe posting to your site.
- Under Your account, change your password (at least 10 characters) or sign out.
- Under Your team, the workspace owner invites teammates by email. Each plan includes a number of people: 1 on Starter, 3 on Growth, 10 on Pro; the free trial is for one.
What you see on the page
- Connected: The last test passed, so TuBe can post to your site.
- Can't post yet: The last test found a problem. The list under it says which check failed.
- Not tested yet: Choose Test again to check the connection.
- Your plan: Your free trial's days left, or your plan's name, with a link to Plan and billing.
- Invite sent, not accepted yet: The teammate hasn't opened their invite yet. The owner can send it again or remove them.
- Delete your account: For the owner. It removes every login to the workspace and stops all work for it. A teammate sees Leave this workspace instead.
After you act
- Connecting WordPress posts nothing. Articles go to your site only when you choose Post.
- An application password works only for apps like TuBe, not for signing in, and you can remove it in WordPress at any time.
- Disconnecting leaves the articles you already posted on your website.
Questions
Is the application password my WordPress password?
No. It works only for apps like TuBe, not for signing in, and you can remove it in WordPress at any time.
Why does it need my https address?
WordPress only accepts this kind of login over https. Use your https:// address.
My site isn't on WordPress.
You can still copy any article from its page into your website builder.
The test failed. What now?
The list under the connection says which check failed. Fix it in WordPress, then choose Test again.
Can my teammates change the plan?
No. Teammates use the tools; only the owner manages the team, the plan and billing, and the account.
How do I delete my account?
The owner chooses Delete my account at the bottom of Settings and types the business name to confirm. If a paid plan is running, cancel it under Plan and billing first.
